The Red Dead Redemption 2 trailer showcasing gameplay is here!

It may seem like forever since Read Dead Redemption 2 was announced, more so for the committed fans of Rockstar Games but we are finally going to see the very first Red Dead Redemption 2 trailer which is going to focus on the gameplay rather than a cinematic trailer teasing the storyline. Fans will finally get to see what the western sequel will be like to play from today.

When and where will the Red Dead Redemption 2 trailer show?

The trailer will be shown today at 4PM BST (UK time) and you’;; be able to watch it on Rockstar’s YouTube, Facebook and Twitch channels – and we’ll obviously be adding the trailer right here as soon as the time comes too.

Other than the cinematic trailers like the one below, RockStar Games have kept the details a little on the down low so the Red Dead Redemption 2 trailer showing gameplay will be a massive leap into knowing the ins and outs of the game.

What do we know so far?

mainly about the storyline; we know the game is set in a 1899 America setting at the end of the wild west times and that the law are on the hunt for the few remaining outlaw gangs that are still around with the intention of killing those not waving a white flag.

Rockstar states “After a robbery goes badly wrong in the western town of Blackwater, Arthur Morgan and the Van der Linde gang are forced to flee, with federal agents and the best bounty hunters in the nation massing on their heels, the gang must rob, steal and fight their way across the rugged heartland of America in order to survive. As deepening internal divisions threaten to tear the gang apart, Arthur must make a choice between his own ideals and loyalty to the gang who raised him … Red Dead Redemption 2 is an epic tale of life in America at the dawn of the modern age.”

As Morgan and the van der Lindge gang fight, rob, and ride their way across  a burnt out 1899 America sources also confirm that John Marston is also set to make an appearance.

Following the Red Dead Redemption 2 trailer dropping later it’s been confirmed by Take-Two that the October 26th release date is confirmed for both Xbox One and PS4 – although there’s still speculation as to whether we’ll see a PC release just yet.
