Things are certainly getting hotter as we make our way through the British summer, and the same goes for the Xbox live games with gold July 2018 free games list – there’s some hot titles coming this month!

Xbox One

Assault Android Cactus July 1st – 31st

Death Squared July 16th – August 15th

Xbox 360

Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown July 1st – 15th

Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell: Conviction July 16th – 31st

I personally don’t know many other gamers who say they didn’t like the Splinter Cell franchise, I mean I hoped the rumours had been true that there’d be a new Splinter Cell title on the way announced at E3 2018, needless to say it didn’t happen.

I think that the list announced as part of the Xbox Live Games With Gold July 2018 update were better than a lot of months previous, there’s a good mix of a shooter with a fighter and a puzzle game. Often I’ve found that games this year have followed a certain genre like racing, which for me is what I’d call a bad month as i’m no fan of racing games (each to their own of course).

If you want to keep up to date with which games are coming in August 2018 then keep your eye on our Xbox One news hub where you’ll find the latest announcements (along with our Facebook and Twitter channels of course).

If you’re not on the Games With Gold bandwagon don’t forget that we also cover the Playstation Plus free games each month so you can find out what games will be available for download each month, for that though you’ll want to check out our PS4 news hub.

See you next month, and don’t forget to let us know what you thought of this month’s Xbox live games with gold July 2018 lineup!

Hey guys, I'm Craig and I built Star Struck Gaming in 2016 to use my passion for gaming to create a one-stop hub for other gamers who just can't get enough of the latest in gaming, as well as the older retro classics we all know and still enjoy a whirl of. I run the daily operations of the site - so if you see any changes to the site that you don't like - blame me!

Have your say!
